After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel for a full-day journey through the vibrant capital of Hanoi.
Your first stop is the historic Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s very first national university, founded in 1070. Its ancient courtyards, traditional architecture, and peaceful gardens offer a beautiful glimpse into the country’s scholarly past.
Next, you will choose between two iconic tour experiences:
From there, you’ll be welcomed into a local family’s home for a truly authentic encounter.
In the afternoon, visit the impressive Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside visit) and explore his former residence, followed by the elegant One Pillar Pagoda.
You’ll then have the option to enjoy a relaxing cycle ride around Hoan Kiem Lake. As evening approaches, take in a traditional water puppet show, a centuries-old art form unique to Vietnam.
In the evening, transfer to Hanoi Railway Station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Breakfast at a local restaurant after arrival (not served on train).
You will be picked up at Lao Cai Railway Station, transferred to Sapa, and stop at the hotel to leave your luggage before continuing the tour.
Met up by local guide for a short transfer to Cat Cat village. You follow steps downhill, stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station, then continue the trek through rice paddy terraces along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you rest and enjoy lunch nearby the river.
After lunch, head toward Muong Hoa valley, passing through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Ta Van village of Giay minority.
Return to Sapa by car.

Early morning departure to Bac Ha. Breakfast box from hotel.
Visit the famous Bac Ha Market, one of Vietnam’s most colorful and authentic ethnic markets, where various hill tribe groups gather to trade livestock, textiles, handicrafts and local produce.
After the visit, return to Sapa Town for lunch (at your own expense) before boarding a share-bus back to Hanoi.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

After breakfast, set out on a scenic 3h30 drive to the breathtaking Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to more than 1,600 limestone islands rising dramatically from emerald-green waters.
Board a traditional Junk boat for a memorable 4-hour cruise. Glide past towering karsts, hidden coves, and secluded lagoons. You’ll stop to explore an impressive natural cave.
A fresh seafood lunch is served on board.
In the late afternoon, return to Hanoi.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to Dong Hoi. Arrive and transfer to Phong Nha.
Get acquainted with the floral system of Phong Nha Botanical Garden on the hiking trail passing by Vang Anh Lake, hundred-year-old trees and Gio Waterfall. Embark on a scenic boat cruise on the Son River to visit Phong Nha Water Cave.
Approx. 2.5km hiking.

Spend the morning exploring the magnificent stalactites and stalagmites of Paradise Cave.
The afternoon is spent with multi-activities in the area of Chay River–Dark Cave: ziplining, swimming, kayaking, mud bath.

A full day exploring Tu Lan Cave System, once the film set for the Hollywood blockbuster “Kong: Skull Island” (2017). Features a 35-meter-wide chamber floor and chandeliers of 30-meter-high stalactites.
Hike through valleys and explore 2 dry and wet caves. Swim in the underground river and a natural lake formed at its exit.
Approx. 9km hiking, 800m caving, 120m elevation gain.
Tour only available from November 15th to September 15th.

Drive to Dong Chau–Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve and start hiking along the stream under the canopy of Western Truong Son forests. Upon reaching upstream of Duong Cam Waterfall, challenge yourself by abseiling the waterfall for 100 meters.
Approx. 7km hiking, 100m abseiling, 400m elevation gain.

Today we embark on a scenic journey to Hue via the spectacular Hai Van Pass, one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking coastal drives. The journey takes approximately 3 to 4.5 hours.
Along the way, stop to visit the historic Vinh Moc Tunnels and the Hien Luong Bridge, two significant landmarks of the former Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).

Begin with a peaceful boat ride along the Perfume River to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s most enduring symbols.
Next, visit the majestic Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the heart of Hue’s former royal capital. Wander through grand courtyards, ornate temples, and tranquil gardens.
In the afternoon, continue to Emperor Tu Duc’s Mausoleum, a masterpiece of traditional Vietnamese architecture built according to the mystical principles of geomancy.
Return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Hoi An via the spectacular Hai Van Pass (approx. 2.5 hours).
Hoi An is an exceptionally preserved Southeast Asian trading port recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, beloved for its rich cultural heritage, centuries-old architecture, and timeless atmosphere.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walking tour through Hoi An’s Old Town. Highlights include the ornate Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, and several traditional homes.
To end your day, join local artists for a lantern-making workshop.

Flight: Da Nang (DAD) → Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) 08:25–10:00 (schedules subject to change)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Da Nang Airport for your morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
Your city exploration starts at the historic Reunification Palace. Next, admire the Notre Dame Cathedral (outside visit) and the charming Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel. Continue past the Opera House and Hotel de Ville, and end at the Catinat Building, a 1927 art deco gem.
Conclude your day with a visit to the War Remnants Museum.

Journey to My Tho, gateway to Vietnam’s lush Mekong Delta. Board a boat for a scenic cruise along the Mekong River.
Your boat ride takes you around Long Lan, Qui, and Phung Islands, past floating fish farms, and along the narrow palm-lined Xep Canal.
Disembark to visit a charming local home crafted from coconut wood and palm leaves. Enjoy freshly harvested tropical fruits while listening to a live performance of traditional Vietnamese music.
In the afternoon, relax on the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
