Accommodation: Capital hotel with swimming pool – 3* or 4* hotel

Hike to Amelia Lagoon (3 to 4 hours)

Level: moderate (can be slippery after the rain)
Note: bring hiking shoes or boots, extra shirt and light raincoat.
Altitude of departure: 1100 m; Highest point: 1460 m
Cumulated denivelation: about 500 m (we have to go down in the crater…)

Lunch at Roça Monte Cafe
Visit of Roça Monte Café and museum of coffee.

Dolphin / Whales boat tour
Picnic lunch at Blue Lagoon or Tamarindos beach Swim, relax, sunbathes
Snorkelling with local coach and paddle board

Dinner at Roça Monte Forte
Accommodation: Pension Roça Monte Forte

Hike to Angolares Waterfall and Water tunnels

Level: easy/ moderate

Note: bring hiking or sport shoes, swimming suit (tunnel walk, waterfall bath), and a jacket to keep warm.

Altitude of departure: about 300m; Denivelation: 400m approximately

Picnic lunch at the water dam
Visit of CECAB (Cocoa cooperative at Monte Forte)
Sightseeing (Tunnel of Santa Catarina and other northern spots)

Free dinner (at the Roça if booked in advance, or in Neves, Santola giant crabs)
Accommodation: Pension Roça Monte Forte

Drive back to Capital (1 hour)
Roça Agostinho Neto visit
Drive south (1 hour) – Mouth of Hell, Agua Izé Hospital, Micondo beach

Lunch at Pensão Mionga (Chef Nelito)

South road continuation (1 hour)
Pico Cão Grande, palm tree plantation

Hotel check in and dinner (at the hotel, not included)

Boat transfer Rolas Island (turtledove island).

Visit of centre of the world landmark!

Walk around the island (Bateria beach, natural geyser, coconut plantation)
Fishermen lunch at coffee beach
Swim, relax, sunbathe

Transfer to hotel
Dinner at local family house (Suzanna) (taxi service included)

Early morning Mangrove tour
Hike “Homem da capa” around the southern beaches (Piscina, Jalé…)

Check out and transfer to São João das Angolares
Gastronomical lunch at roça São João das Angolares

Visit of São Tomé city
Local fruit and fish market, central square, Cathedral, Presidential Palace…

Transfer to hotel for last shower

The tour ends at the airport for check-in and security formalities and to board the flight to Lisbon.
