Visa requirements for The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Most travellers to Jordan can obtain a visa on arrival or apply for an e-visa, but requirements vary by nationality and entry point.

Visa not required

Holders of passports of the following 12 countries and territories do not require a visa to visit Jordan up to 3 months per 6 months for tourism or business purposes:

Visa on Arrival

Jordan offers visa on arrival for citizens of many countries. Visitors can obtain this visa upon landing at major entry points, including Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.

For those who prefer to plan ahead, the e-visa can be applied for online. Most travelers from Western countries, including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, and EU member states, are eligible for a visa on arrival or e-visa.
