At 09:00 we begin our city tour visiting the Khasti Imam complex (Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum 15th c., Barak Khan Madrassah 16th c., Muy-Mubarak Mosque). Also visit the Dzhuma Mosque of Khodja Akhrar Vali and Abdulkasim Madrassah (19th c.). Shopping at the Chorsu national oriental bazaar. Time permitting, enjoy a Tashkent Metro ride.
Afternoon: Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre, Independence Square, Amir Temur Statue, Tashkent clocks, Palace of Forums, “Broadway” alley, Minor Mosque.
Breakfast box from hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Bukhara.
Arrival in Bukhara, meet driver, transfer to city centre.
City tour: Samanides Mausoleum (9–10th c.), Chashma Ayub Mausoleum (14th c.).
Afternoon: Bolo-Hauz Mosque (early 20th c.), Citadel Ark (4th c. BC), Poyi Kalon Ensemble — Kalon Minaret (12th c.), Kalon Mosque (12th c.) and Madrasah Miri Arab (16th c.).
Transfer to hotel, check-in (from 14:00).
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 10:00 visit the Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Complex, summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara, 4 km north of the city. A stunning mix of European and Oriental architecture.
Return to city: Kosh Madrasah Ensemble, Lyabi-Khauz Complex (14–17th c.).
Afternoon: walking and shopping at Coupol Bazaar — trading domes dating back to the Great Silk Road. Find handmade carpets, silk textiles, folk instruments, jewellery and more.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free at leisure. At 11:00 drive to Samarkand (280 km total).
Stop at Gijduvan (50 km from Bukhara): visit the famous ceramic artist’s workshop — the Narzullayev family’s sixth-generation pottery school, world-renowned for its unique style.
Lunch. Continue to Samarkand (230 km).
On arrival: visit Guri Emir Mausoleum – Tamerlane’s Tomb (14–15th c.), with its iconic blue dome.
Drive to hotel, check-in, freshen up.
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 09:00 city tour starts at Registan Square — Ulugbek Madrasah (15th c.), Sher-Dor Madrasah (17th c.), Tillya-Kori Madrasah (17th c.). Then the Ulugbek Observatory (15th c.).
Next: Bibi-Khanum Mosque named after Amir Timur’s beloved wife. Visit the Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel, revered by Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Stroll and shop at Siyob National Bazaar — fresh and dried fruits, nuts, sweets, bread, local souvenirs.
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 08:00 continue city tour: Guri Emir Mausoleum (if not visited on Day 5), Ulugbek Observatory, and the magnificent Shahi-Zinda Necropolis (11th–15th c.) — burial place of royalty, notable for its stunning tilework.
Transfer to Samarkand train station for departure to Tashkent. Arrival in Tashkent, meet and transfer to hotel, check-in.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out by 10:00.
Transfer to Chimgan Mountains (~60 km, 1.5 hrs). At Chinorkent recreation complex take a cable-car lift offering panoramic views of the Tien Shan Mountains and Lake Charvak, climbing to 1,680 m in 11 minutes.
Time for walking, photos and nature. Cable-car down. Drive back to Tashkent.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depending on your flight time, transfer to the airport.
The tour ends at the airport for check-in and security formalities.
